Question: Any good birthday gift ideas for dad who is turning 53 soon?

Ok.. my dad is turning 53 soon. I think.. I’m looking to spend about $50.00 on his birthday gift this year.

My dad is not to crazy about gift cards. I would get him a digital picture frame but.. he doesn’t have a digital camera.. and has no use for one.

In the past I have gotten him cologne, expensive razor sets, kitchen stuff, pictures with frames…. and now I have run out of birthday present ideas.

What would you guys suggest? Please help, thanks.

Question: What kinds of generic birthday gifts do men like?

I need some good birthday gift ideas for men – stuff that any man would like.

Just as you can almost always buy bath stuff for women or gift cert to clothes store, what kinds of generic birthday gifts do men like?

I’m talking men in the 40+ year old age range. I already have stuff like gift cert to home depot, microbrewery samples etc.

OK, guys out there – what kind of generic gift would YOU like to receive on your birthday?

Please try to keep ideas in the $20-$50 range.
